Simon Murphy thinks its John long

Quote

Quote "The Trike unit at Weston Super Mare belonged to our Local Hero, John Long.  He is an intrepid gentleman, who got into all sorts of scrapes.  He was employed to fly over the Iguassu waterfall in South America for a James Bond film, but after he had done it they realised they had no film in the main cameras.

He was a master at getting sponsorship for his hang gliding and microlighting, and at different times attracted such names as Grundig, the Royal Navy, and Varta. He was also a pioneer of powered hang gliders, getting one of the first Midas Es.

He still lives near here, Smiling and cheeky as ever, although a bit slower than before!" unquote.
